Mixed Methods

Combining Methods……a natural evolution

When I returned to printmaking in 2012, my early printmaking practices focused on a single process for each print—typically lithography, silkscreen, or etching. Once I began combining these processes, an entirely new range of possibilities opened up. I became fascinated by the interplay between techniques and the ways they could be overlapped and layered to create depth, texture, and visual complexity within a single print. The dialogue between different processes has become an important part of my creative exploration, allowing each layer to contribute something distinct while creating a unified whole.
